Napoleon the Lonely Leopard

Napoleon the lean leopard spent his days running with his friends through the beautiful plains of Africa. Life was wonderful, wild and free. But one day, Napoleon was attacked. He was so badly injured that he was forced to leave his home and friends behind to begin a new life in a zoo far away.

Would Napoleon ever find a new friend or would he be a lonely leopard for evermore?.......

Napoleon the Lonely Leopard was featured on BBC Northern Ireland's Newsline programme in late 2005. Author Lauren Graham, a schoolteacher from Orangefield Primary School in east Belfast, was interviewed in a short piece which can be viewed below.
